My ancestors are from India.

I was born in Waikato, NZ however grew up in Fiji. 

Growing up in a multicultural Pasifica environment and having strong ties with New Zealand, Fiji and India, I connect and understand the culture and traditions of many diverse ethnicities and extended family dynamics.


My approach to counselling is primarily person-centred, collaborative and strengths-based.

Narrative and Cognitive Behavioural  Therapy influence my work and I use play therapy for children 6 years and over as appropriate.

I am well versed with other methods of therapy and can flexibly match method to need, in order to focus, work through and alleviate issues.


I speak fluent English, Hindi and Fiji Hindi.


I also work with women in their darkest moments including grief, losses, despair, life change, suicidal thinking, abuse and trauma; empowering them to break the cycle.


I have extensive knowledge and experience of the NZ Ministry of Justice psycho-educational Strengthening Safety Service programme.


I offer short and/or long term therapy to help you achieve your goals.
